THERAPEUTIC SOLUTIONS ADAPTED TO YOUR NEEDS

SOLUTIONS AND THERAPIES

The OPS postural assessment allows the therapist to discover imbalances in the patient's body and thus propose him therapeutic solutions. Our therapists are specialised in the analysis and treatment of posture, walking, running and feet.

After each assessment, our therapeutic unit will consult internally in order to propose the best treatment. Since 2002, our patients benefit from the professional experience of our OPS team, composed of orthopaedists, chiropodists, physiotherapists, osteopaths and dentists, specialised in orthokinesy.

ORTHOKINESIC MANIPULATION
ORTHOKINESIC MANIPULATION

Orthokinesic manipulation is the first method applying manual therapy in a dynamic form. It allows the patient to be treated in different positions, whether moving, under load or at rest. The way in which the treatment(s) is/are applied depends on the type of injury and the lesional gesture. The manual dynamic treatment allows the moving and fully tensioned soft tissue to be adjusted and the lesional movement to be corrected quickly and efficiently. By taking into account the tonic variations of the tissues in their activity, it is possible to achieve optimal tissue adjustment and central integration.

The dynamic release manoeuvres are of particular interest in the care and monitoring of active athletes and patients.

The method can treat the patient in different positions while moving, under load or at rest. It offers several ways of working from superficial to deep (fascial, cutaneous, muscular and articular) and treats the whole body, from head to toe.

Orthokinesic manipulation allows the re-harmonisation of joint and tissue amplitude losses without spinal manipulation. It is as effective in the acute stage (torticollis...) as in the chronic stage (tendinopathy, lumbago...).

POSTURAL REHABILITATION WITH ADJUSTABLE STRAPS

In the event of dysfunction of the patient's muscular, fascial and proprioceptive balance, the therapist may choose to undertake postural rehabilitation using elastic straps that can be adjusted and adapted from head to toe.

It can be used to reprogram a sports movement by proprioception or to strengthen deficient postural muscle chains.

It also has a particular interest in orthopaedics (scoliosis) and neurology (multiple sclerosis, hemiplegia...).

PATENTED ACTIVE ORTHOPAEDIC TOOLS
PLANTAR ACTIVATORS
PLANTAR ACTIVATORS

The therapist may choose to use ACTIVE therapeutic tools because of the added value they bring to patients, particularly plantar activators.

Plantar activators are orthopaedic insoles that reproduce the spring function of the foot, while stimulating all the body's muscle and fascial chains, as well as activating ascending postural proprioception.

OPS Clinic respects the dynamics of the body. This is why it favours the use of ACTIVE aids (custom-made or standard) which stimulate the body to regain its natural balance.

OPS Clinic works in partnership with the only 3 laboratories in the world that manufacture (patented) plantar activators : Tedop, Kinepod, Orthes.

MOUTH ACTIVATORS
MOUTH ACTIVATORS

Mouth activators are multi-functional dental trays that counteract jaw anomalies and tensions, while stimulating all the body's muscle and fascial chains, as well as activating the descending postural proprioception.

EYE BOARDS
EYE BOARDS

The active eye board acts on the strengthening of the oculomotor muscles and their proprioceptive rehabilitation.

With regular exercise, the eye board can be very effective in countering migraines, eye fatigue, neck pain and certain pathologies of descending postural origin.
