IN GENEVA, LUXEMBOURG, BRUSSELS, LYON, PARIS...

The "Orthokinesy International Academy" organises specialised trainings to enable health professionals to become orthokinesists.

Our training courses mainly address to physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, dentists or speech therapists, but can also be an added value for other health professionals.

The aim of our specialised training courses is to ensure a complete theoretical and practical background in order to provide therapists with a new therapeutic arsenal that is complementary to their daily practice.

FROM POSTURAL ANALYSIS
TO DYNAMIC TREATMENT

Orthokinesy offers therapists an unusual approach to rehabilitation, especially due to its dynamic proprioceptive aspect.

Man is movement. Orthokinesy places movement at the centre of its method allowing a diagnostic and therapeutic approach in movement.
POSTURAL ANALYSIS

A UNIQUE CERTIFYING TRAINING

WHAT WILL YOU DISCOVER ?

Manipulating dynamically

Manipulating dynamically

The manual dynamic treatment allows the moving and fully tensioned soft tissue to be adjusted and the lesional movement to be corrected quickly and efficiently. By taking into account the tonic variations of the tissues in their activity, it is possible to achieve optimal tissue adjustment and central integration.

The dynamic unlocking manoeuvres are of particular interest in the care and monitoring of active athletes and patients.

The method can treat the patient in different positions while moving, under load or at rest. It offers several ways of working, from superficial to deep (fascial, cutaneous, muscular and articular) and treats the body as a whole, from head to toe.

Orthokinesy manipulation allows the re-harmonisation of joint and tissue amplitude losses without spinal manipulation. It is as effective in the acute stage (torticollis...) as in the chronic stage (tendinopathy, lumbago...).

Working with orthodynamic straps

Working with orthodynamic straps

This method, which has been particularly prized in sport, promotes active postural rehabilitation using elastic straps that can be modulated and adapted according to the pathology or mechanical defects analysed.

It can be used to reprogram a sports movement by proprioception or to strengthen deficient postural muscle chains.

It is also of particular interest in orthopaedics (scoliosis) and neurology (multiple sclerosis, hemiplegia...).

Analysing to find disturbing causes

Analysing to find disturbing causes

Even for an experienced professional, many elements escape careful visual and palpatory examination. Medical imaging can be of great help, especially when movement analysis is required. During orthokinesic training, the postural and dynamic imaging ‘OPS Clinic’ will be used to find the cause of pain and body imbalances invisible to the naked eye.

A good analysis of the patient is an indispensable basis for effective treatment.

Posturo-dynamic orthopaedic tools and shoes

Posturo-dynamic orthopaedic tools and shoes

There are still doubts about the benefits of certain models of orthopaedic shoes and tools. Orthokinesic training lists the advantages and disadvantages of each therapeutic tool according to the pathology, the desired performance and the desired preventive effect.

Both postural and dynamic tools (foot, maxillofacial and oculomotor) are used to facilitate the reprogramming of dysfunctional sensors, to obtain optimal efficiency and to provide long-lasting results.

TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A DYNAMIC AND HIGH-PERFORMANCE NETWORK

Therapists who have successfully completed orthokinesic training at the  Orthokinesy International Academy can apply to represent OPS Clinic in their practice.

OPS Clinic allows therapists to perform orthokinesic assessments using a unique postural and dynamic imaging system, and to offer the treatments discovered during the training.

More than a hundred OPS Clinics have been implemented throughout the world since 2002.

BIOMECHANICAL LABORATORY

A BIOMECHANICAL LABORATORY

(OPS Clinic) constantly looking for high tech analysis tools. The exclusive ‘OPS Clinic’ software allows us to target the smallest biomechanical flaws thanks to an analysis of posture, feet, back... in static and dynamic.

When starting an OPS Clinic, the software is made available without investment and without risk.

A THERAPEUTIC UNIT FOR ASSESSMENT ANALYSIS

(OPS Clinic) which works together to offer the best treatment to each patient. This unit accompanies each OPS Clinic so that it can benefit from the professional experience of the OPS team, composed of orthopaedists, chiropodists, kinesitherapists/physiotherapists, osteopaths, dentists, all specialised in orthokinesy.

A THERAPEUTIC RESEARCH LABORATORY

(O2te) holding several patents.

ORTHOPEDIC
LABORATORIES

(Kinépod, Orthes et Tedop) at the cutting edge of 3D technology produce active orthopaedic solutions (plantar and oral activators, active eye boards, active postural straps, etc.).

AN ACTIVE MEDICAL TEACHING STAFF

(OIA) which closely follows medical scientific developments, while practising orthokinesy on a daily basis.
